Battle Buddies is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that works to support military veterans. This is accomplished through two major focal points of advocacy and monetary donations. As a local Miss America titleholder I am using my platform of influence to invoke conversations that work to decrease the stigma surrounding veteran support. Through Battle Buddies presentations I am challenging American citizens of all ages to get involved in giving back to these brave men and women.

From a governmental approach this is accomplished through the constitutional principle of law making. By supporting Legislators we can fight for a real change in the accessibility of resources in the veteran community. And as a nonprofit Battle Buddies is functioning on a monetary scale to fundraise for the provision of grant money for organizations that donate service dogs to veterans who struggle with PTSD and other military induced illnesses. Together I believe that as a united society we can give to our veterans the glory, honor, and support that they truly deserve.
